Well, I discovered these painted elephants on my way to Vincent van Gogh's Museum!
I then understood the purpose of this exhibition. For a good cause of course, as wild elephants are to be protected.
In fact life is to be protected these days, threats are so strong when we want to think about them.
I was wondering about the peaceful attitude of this country, thousands of bikes parked in front of offices, which is already a big step forward.
And these rows of elephants! Here are a few of them.

If I were a' happy few 'which one would I try to buy on Nov the 12th?
The blue elephant of course...There's one with white ears!
I thought about doing my own with sunflowers all over his ears and body, to be in tune.
The only music which came to my mind with the dream of parade elephants is Albert Roussel's Padmavati.
I was wondering when you were in Amsterdam.I tried to have a good look at the trees, were they with or without leaves, was it now or was it spring time? then I saw Van Gogh's letters, an exhibition which opened recently in the Van Gogh Museum. Then I knew you were there now.I was there too, not in your neighbourhood, but in the city somewhere; so strange to see a reportage on a special, mostly spanish oriented blog, from somebody living in Marseille, writing in french and english, visiting the city where I was born. I lived there,I studied there, I left the country for another country, and again for another country, I still have many friends there, whom I see frequently.I think this is very special, I cannot exactly describe the feeling I had when seeing your blog. Amazing!
