Lots of islands in this dreamy call of the wild! Aruba, Bermuda, Bahamas, Jamaica... key largo...let's rock gently and slowly with Kermit...while landing on Marseilles airport, over the Frioul Islands...
I flew into Marseilles last September and loved the view but it was traumatic leaving as I hit the strike and had to stay another 3 days - not a hardship but very inconvenient for getting home! Still - it meant another two trips to Aix ( but not at festival time ! )
So this view from this landing plane is familiar to you! Flying is not always convenient. I fly low cost most of the time and last sunday I left the hotel in Zürich at 4.30AM to register for a 6.45AM plane to Marseilles via Amsterdam! Thanks for having me as a blog friend. Your new post is soundless because it is video... BBC protectice policy is very strange! A pity really. Do you get Arte channel? Last night there was direct Aix-La Traviata with stunning Nat Dessay and utterly moving Charles Castronovo. I must write about this, even televised!(I did not manage to get a ticket...in time for decent prices!) It is on Arte live web now,if you have access to this channel. So long!
Yes, I have access to Arte and look forward to seeing the Aix Traviata later. My video ( the Fender one ) should not cause problems as it comes straight from my computer but the BBC ones do have a horrid blocking policy - sickening really.
