I am back, was not too far away from home, and yet in another world.
We had the girls with us and stayed on a campsite in a wooden bungalow in the woods.
We spent days hiking and bird watching as it went.
A quiet visitor got used to our daily crumbs and we were expecting its visit...in silence and peace. The girls did not make the slightest gesture to disturb the visitor and even stopped their own warbling ... blissful time, enjoying this visit on the wooden terrasse of the bungalow in Chorges...
We did have more than three chairs in this log cabin ...not like Thoreau in his cabin in Walden...
As for our faithful greedy visitor, we once tried to sing to it:
Madame Mésange,
pardon si je vous dérange,
voulez-vous bien, pour de bon,
me livrer mon charbon?
Car, je le vois à vos manières,
vous êtes Mésange Charbonnière.
Vous vous trompez,
mon bon monsieur,
moi, je suis la mésange bleue.
Mettez, oui, mettez vos lunettes,
si vous n'en avez pas,
je vous en prête...(Anne sylvestre "Oiseaux", Fabulettes)

But it did not work, it flew away... swiftly.
