Happy Hour : Mezzos.... how many?

I could not ignore such a brilliant title  and paper in the Telegraph about mezzos, being so fond of them !
Could I try to write a defensive outcry, a 'cocorico 'version like:' France: tes  mezzos magnifiques !' ?
It  lacks the trumpet effect of the English title....with  pale unstressed French syllables compared to English ones...and makes  it  sound a bit like football teams in competition !
My answer to this insular vision is an international tour of the Mezzo planet with the mezzos I have seen and heard! (and by the way I have seen, heard and loved Sarah, Alice and Christine ).
A tout seigneur tout honneur, first  France with:
Karine Deshayes, Marie-Ange Todorovitch, Sophie Koch.... all very busy and always fantastic to my taste ! Plus wonderful persons when I venture at the stage door to thank them.
Germany : Waltrud Meier I saw twice (Bastille, Marie-Wozzek. Festival d'Aix: Strauss, Elektra's mother  an absolutely stunning Clytemnestra). I will see  her  in a Wagner role for the first time in Spring (Ortrud-Lohengrin, Deutsch Oper ). She is also fantastic. I had the chance to go to the conclusion of her Masterclass in Aix in July  and appreciated even more the woman who had simple words to express her respect to Patrice Chéreau's memory. (her French is so true and colloquial!).
Bulgaria: the trousers' role champion I saw now several times and am really fond of in all the roles where I saw her perform : Vesselina Kasarova. I will only attend her recital in Paris, this season. (Dec 1, Lundis Musicaux Palais Royal)
Italy: Cecilia Bartoli, the amazing mezzo coloratura champion and wonderful baroque music singer. I will not travel to her Paris recital like I usually do because I must try to visit La Scala and other rather expensive places.  (As Woody Allen once said ' I am not a millionnaire but I'd like to live like one'....)
United states of America: Joyce di Donato I saw twice in Paris (Romeo-Bellini, Donna del lago-Rossini ).
Russia: Ekaterina Sementchuk I heard accompanied by Larissa Gergieva at Le Festival d'Aix some years ago, when the Mariinski best young singers visited the Festival with their mentor. I loved her voice and all the Russian Songs before they recorded the CD, 'Russian songs' together.
This is not complete because it is linked to my experience of live mezzo singers on stage.
And to be even more passionate with the French team.... on the 20th of Sept I will be at this concert :
2 Mezzos sinon Rien .....
The French team has also new (younger) comers like Clémentine Margaine I will see soon too, let's  hope!
