Exit Lundis Musicaux at Palais Royal.

Surprising E-mail received just now, which means I will not see Vesselina Kasarova on Dec the first ( train booked already because of cheap advanced booking), and Karine  Deshayes later in the season..
For Vesselina Kasarova I feel really moved and sad because it is not easy to have the chance to see her. I feel a 'loss' here and  wonder how these artists will face this argument "economic problems'"which means they will work less and lose money there.
Frankly I do not understand.
In that precise case getting my money back will never replace what I feel about the artistic value of the venue of artists who were part of the season 'Les Lundis Musicaux'.
Business is killing Art.
Here it is:
Bonjour

  1. How sad and did I hear that the Montpeiller Opera was going to cancel their season?

  2. What I read is that this very short season will be the last. It is a shame. Because Montpellier is a wonderful opera house but there is the challenge of the Corum which is a huge new theater. There is no comparison between the two houses. I prefer the old place which has human siize. I often go to Montpellier for music. I do not know what will happen to us not only in the Art field, . I do not know, and wars to face on top of all the economic tensions...
