Born in Nice and so generous as a singer and human being, it was not difficult around the Southern stages to catch a performance of his. I even saw him at l'Olympia in Paris along side Karine Deshayes for a Gala concert sponsored by Radio Classique and enjoyed his deep warm voice and sense of humour.
He also could sing our Nissart folk songs wih a genuine Nissart pronounciation and make us feel proud and happy!
I also had the pleasure to see him in a favourite role of his, Marcello, that was at Bastille.( Rodolfo was Rolando Villazon. )
