December 2015 interlude with Vesselina Kasarova.

Some days are harder to go through than others.
The  13th of Nov barbaric acts will not vanish easily from our collective memory.
What is added to the heavy atmosphere is now the terrific growth of the Far right here in the last regional election. For the first time in my life I will not vote  simply because I have no choice left here in the Southern region. (It is no use to make them  more popular by writing their names here).
I simply want to forget them all, and hope for some kind of awakening from my fellow citizens who simply do not remember what it was like to have very conservative and compromising politicians during WW2, because they are like clones of these politicians of the past.
Luckily, Christmas break is coming and I hope all the famly gatherings will take place in peace all over France.
Only Vesselina Kasarova, (thank you Smorgy for this upload and the great comments  on this artist we appreciate so much) could help me tonight, with this Gounod's melodie, with the waves going  so well with the rhythm of the melodie!
I guess it will be the last Interlude of the year 2015.
To all my friends through this blog (which might get silenced by what is going on)...here is this peaceful space of time...for the time being.
 Scores & Lyrics
(the aria is visible at Cantilène... )

  1. Cara I think there is a general sense of despair in the world today which is scaring us all. Please don't let it silence you - the joy you communicate in what you experience is what these bastards - both sides - want to destroy. Only wish we could really sit down over a glass of wine and exchange the delights of the world we have in common. Big hugs from my side of the pond.
