News from the Discrete Diva, beloved in Munich and elsewhere!

At the BSO on Feb 11th, Anja Harteros stepped in '  Rosenkavalier ' to replace unfit Anne Schwanewilms.
Anja Harteros is in her favourite opera house in Munich, busy rehearsing her new role in Andrea Chenier: Madeleine de Coigny. I have just managed to get a ticket I can afford at end of March and will make the trip to  Munich for this new role  of hers, but I have my ticket for the concert version in Paris first! (this ticket I have just got is again from the BSO forum and date and price suit me...I am overjoyed!)
Not only Anne Schwanewilms was ill but also Elisabeth Muller. So  the young Golda Schultz replaced her. Therefore the famous trio, Octavian, the Feldmarschallin and Sophie was quite renewed for that evening, only octavian- Angela Brower remained from the original cast!
I would have liked to be there...
Here is a photo from the BSO twitter site:
And an unforgettable night at the opera with my Discrete Diva in one of her signature role:
the Feldmarschallin with her grace, humanity  with her special aristocratic looks and above all her flexible tops made for Richard Strauss music, and more...
