Solidarity concert in Aix tomorrow night (17 th Nov) for 'SOS Méditerranée'

Tomorrow night in Saint-Jean de Malte church next to Mignet Museum, there will be a wonderful concert with Bernard Foccroulle, playing the organ, his daughter  Alice, singing and the talented musician composer and oud player, Moneim Adwan,  united like they were in 2014 and 2016 for wonderful musical events in June 2014, 'la Colombe, Le renard et le Héron, a  music tale composed by the Palestinian musician Moneim Adwan ( he also sang the role of the fox and accompanied the songs with his oud) and in June and July 2016 his opera 'Kalila y Dima' was performed at the Jeu de Paume. I loved this ancient tale,  the singing,  the simple staging and above all the message of humanity. It is sad to think that Bernard Foccroulle will end his direction of Aix festival as he opened widely the world of arabic culture and also invited fantastic groups of singers from South Africa as culture has no boundaries.
Tomorrow again, I feel there will be, (in this support for those who perish for freedom, human rights  or simply  hope to live in peaceful surroundings at last, while trying to cross our mare Nostrum)  an intense communion of hope in sharing multi cultural musical moments, these moments will be more valuable than a thousand words.
