Songs...Rolando ...' L'alouette' and 'El Reloj'

Love after all is always a question of time. I am very nostalgic of 2006 and this fantastic Vienna "Roméo et Juliette" where both Rolando and Anna gave thrills of happiness to their lucky audience: their youth and talent dazzled.
This 'Alouette'reminds the lovers that time runs too fast in Gounod opera, just like this clock' does in this traditional Mexican bolero 'El reloj'.
The intensity of the dramatic situation is less overwhelming in the Mexican song but the voice is expressing similar feelings: the anxiety of separation. Rolando's voice is giving more charm to the song, being what he was in Roméo in Vienna, LA, Salzburg and the Moscow and Paris recitals where he performed this aria with Anna Netrebko.

Still, if I could set the clock back...
(Many thanks for these youtube uploads, that precious one from the Moscow recital, and this new one from Rolando Villazon new album).
