Mady Mesplé. Delibes flower duet. Lakmé (1970).

It is not time for blooming flowers in my tiny garden.
Though I want to celebrate this end of year with my own flash of yellow from my yard. Three yellow roses, and a clump of mahonia are miming the missing sun, the one which is needed to keep illness away and give joy and light even when times are rather dull and hard for many of us .
Funny that I do live not far from the most expensive scientific project on the planet which is to replace the sun powerful fusion, the ITER project?
I feel like asking these learned people to give all the money away for PEACE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, and HEALTH RESEARCH all over the planet.
A tribute to my Mum, who could sing this part so heavenly.
Mady Mesplé is a wonderful soprano coloratura. I am glad to end my year of passionate
listening with her. I do hope she is well and still enjoys singing while accompanying herself on the piano.
