Sea Song.

I am relieved this october month is over. I missed some musical dates both in Paris but it was for a good cause. I missed my young singers'opera Firma which was again performed in Paris on the 22nd and 24th.

("Firma revient" Photo P.Platel) Then I missed Médée at the TCE : I was so pleased to have the opportunity to listen to Sophie Karthauser again. Still, I managed to spend a wonderful time on the coast with friends and we enjoyed some time together in Nice at the opera house for a fine Simon Boccanegra. I will try to blog about it some day. Then, travelled to Brussels for Lulu, and the amazing Barbara Hannigan I discovered this summer at the Aix festival in Written on skin. Soon I will also try to express my deep emotion during this Opera, even more stunning than Wozzeck. Now I feel like drifting away like this swift canoe I watched last week before the tempest started. It was mild and quiet, a peaceful end of Summer.
