Placido Domingo and Line Renaud are old friends: well, this is serious news from Le Monde.
So just a little dream: both very talented as they are, they could make a sweet duo with 'ma cabane au Canada' and 'combien ce petit chien dans la vitrine' with some zarzuella taught by Placido it would make a delicious cd for old fashioned fans like me..
and for an "old" blog fan of yours as well. Thought Line Renaud was much older than Placido. See her often on France 1 or 2 or 3. She wears an enormous hat, so that you cannot see her face., and wrinkles... I surely know "ma cabane au Canada" and "le petit chien dans la vitrine"...How many years ago was that all? I know Placido loves to do "cross-over";maybe we could convince him....
