Not a question of age at all...

  2. Sorry, I have to react again. You gave me a wonderful afternoon. I watched all the YT's. What an elegance and a great talent Fred Astaire had; he was unique, really. Ginger R. and Rita H., both extraordinary ballerina's and beauties. Fred A. was a perfectionist and very very demanding for his partners, never satisfied about their performances. Not an easy man to work with and, alas, he did not have a nice character. But that does not bother us. We enjoy his art and dancing!

  3. The amazing feeling, with 'blogging' and having regular readers is that no matter where we were
brought up, we share through music and our own feelings the same treasures, it gives us a strange feeling of belonging to a family without boundaries...Nice! Thanks for your reactions to 'my' musical choice!

  4. Thank you for bringing a little elegance into the weekend. And its nice to reminded that Rita Hayworth was not just another sex goddess of the era but a beautiful dancer and, though she didn't do her own singing in this particular movie, a very fine singer. Mille grazie Carina.
