1945, end of the War in Europe.
Jascha Heifetz.
Erik Korngold.
And Bing Crosby.
All that is linked in my special festival ending with the dead leaves falling.
And I am hoping to see the return of this precious tenor who perhaps did not think too much of himself as a treasure. His voice and talents now are missed. He sure needs to feel more selfish about his voice!
I will have to wait till the new leaves are coming to hear him sing.
Like thousands of admirers all over the world.

oh yes this delicious tenor.! Today I listened again(how many times did I do it?)very intensely to "Cielo e Mar".The CD that knocked me out the first time I heard it and made me discover Rolando, to never leave him. We ARE waiting for the new leaves and for a reNEWed "delicious tenor" to come back and sing for us with his incredible, voice - voce dolce, soave e vellutata.
